How do I run a Repl imported from Github?

I’ve created a Repl by ‘Import from GitHub’ and have seemingly succeeded in importing the ‘scratch-render’ repository at https://replit.com/@SchoolCodingCoach/scratch-render

Although no errors are reported, I’m seeing this error in the https://scratch-render.schoolcodingcoach.repl.co

Hmmmm… We Couldn’t Reach Your Repl

Make sure your repl has a port open and is ready to receive HTTP traffic.

Where should I be able to view the Scratch 3 interface that is supposed to be produced by this repository?

Do I need to publish the project, or upgrade to open ports and enable HTTP traffic?

Thanks in advance for your suppport!

Technically, it’s possible to do this, because I can see the Scratch 3 GUI created by LLK, the good people who have shared the code for all the Scratch websites.

I’m making slow but steady progress getting it all to work within Replit, having to install numerous dependencies manually, with is quite tedious, but hopefully it will all be worthwhile in the end. For example, I have managed to replicate the ScratchJr website using an import from GitHub.

Any help to get Scratch-GUI working within Replit would be most appreciated…

Hi SchoolCodingCoach,

What a cool idea! I am not intimately familiar with Scratch, but here are some tips:

  1. Make sure that the server is listening on 0.0.0.0 instead of 127.0.0.1 or any other IP address.

Feel free to email me an invite link at derrick@replit.com

GOod luck!

Thanks for your offer to help, Derrick.

I managed to invite you by username.

BTW: When I invite you by email I get this error: Invalid Email Address.

Here are the Getting Started instructions that I have been following to implement what’s needed. I canned the last attempt and am working here now.

Thanks, Sean
